The main venue in Radebeul serves as the starting point for numerous performances and guest engagements throughout Saxony. With performances in Meissen, Bad Elster, Großenhain, and Freital, among other locations, the Landesbühnen make an important contribution to cultural diversity even outside the major cities. A key partner in the field of musical theater is the Elbland Philharmonie Sachsen.
The Landesbühnen are also particularly well-known as the operators of the Felsenbühne Rathen, a historic open-air theater in Saxon Switzerland.
With their wide-ranging repertoire, around 600 performances per season, and their strong regional roots, the Landesbühnen Sachsen are among the cultural highlights of the Dresden Elbland region.
