Church

The church in Dassel, which was consecrated in 1447 and has been a Lutheran church since 1542, belongs to the Emmaus parish of Dassel-Solling in the Leine-Solling church district.

The church was built in 1447 and is characterized by its steeple, which was originally erected as a consecration tower. Inside, there are numerous Protestant secco paintings, otherwise the interior is kept simple, as little of the medieval furnishings remain. Instead, the altar and pulpit area is lavishly decorated.
