Starting from the village square in the officially recognized spa town of Beerheide, begin your hike towards Röthelstein, where you might dare to climb up to admire the view. Along the Rote Göltzsch, you hike upstream to the hiking parking lot on Klingenthaler Straße, cross it heading towards the six-ways crossing where you can take a break and enjoy the wonderful forest air. Your path leads you along Frankenweg past the horse paddock, down Siedlungsstraße to the intersection with Straße des Friedens and then back to the village square, the starting point of your hike.

- Getting thereBeerheide is located in the southwest of the Free State of Saxony. The nearest larger towns in the area are Plauen, Zwickau, and Reichenbach. You can easily reach Beerheide via the A72 motorway.
