Circular route around the Großer Wald via Oppach - Dürrhennersdorf - Neusalza-Spremberg.

Over a distance of 28 kilometers, you can cycle around the area of the "Großer Wald". Starting from Neusalza-Spremberg with the well-known Reiterhaus Museum, a typical Upper Lusatian half-timbered house, you cycle through Oppach to Taubenheim and then turn right to the already described Oppach pond landscape Am Alten Graben. The route goes through the "Lindenberg" and includes a challenging climb up to Picka. You then cycle through the "Eichen" in the Beiersdorf district Gebirge. After crossing the S152, you reach the Niedermühle and follow the markings along the former railway line, passing the Hofepark through the Beiersdorf Schmiedental to Schönbach. Via Dürrhennersdorf and Friedersdorf, you return to the starting point of the route at Neusalza-Spremberg. Since it is a circular route, you can alternatively start at any point on the route.

Cross Neusalza Spremberg Zittauer Str. at "Talstraße" - continue via "Taubenheimer Weg" following the Spree cycle path to the junction before entering Taubenheim village - turn right into "Am Alten Graben" - pass the Grenmühl pond and Gondelteich Oppach - turn left to follow "Kastanienallee"/ B98 a short distance - take the nearest possible simple turn left towards "Lindenbergerstraße" - left towards Lindenberg continuing on "Alte Zeile" - at the intersection turn left onto "Pickaer Str." - along "Am Galgenberg" - turn right onto B96 and after a few meters turn into "Erntekranzweg" towards Reichen - in Eichen follow "Heidelbergstr." - turn left towards Gebirge onto "Teichstraße" - cross "Löbauer Straße" continue on Brettmühlstr. - at the intersection turn left onto "An der Schustermühle" - keep left until you reach "Amselgrundstraße" - turn right there - continue straight on "Alte Schulstraße" - turn right onto "Schmiedestraße" continue - continue straight ahead to "Beierdorfer Straße" (Oberdorf) - turn right and immediately right again - follow "Oberdorferweg" - turn right onto "Schönbacher Straße" towards Friedersdorf - continue right into "Dürrhennersdorfer Straße" - Friedersdorf turn right into "Dorfstraße" passing the primary school - junction left "Am Niederen Spreelauf" - cross B96 and continue on "Obere Quierre" passing the Ziegelteich - then turn left and then right onto "Rumburger Straße" - straight ahead on "Lindenstraße" - towards Neusalza Spremberg passing Obermarkt until reaching the starting point "Zitauer Straße"
