This 33 km cycle tour, always along the Rhine Cycle Path, offers everything the traveler expects from the romantic Rhine: castles on the heights, river landscapes with islands in the middle that offer beer gardens to linger in and pure history in picturesque town centers. Influenced by travel reports that brought the first visitors to the Siebengebirge at the beginning of the 19th century, the landscape between Königswinter and Linz became the epitome of Rhine romance. Later came the young Federal Republic of Germany with its influential personalities, whose residences are now museums presenting contemporary history in a modern way.
