The approximately 30km long Bissendorf Northern Circular Route leads you to the most beautiful moated castle in the region.

The start and end point of the Bissendorf Northern Circular Route is the spa town of Schledehausen in the Bissendorf holiday area. Situated in the midst of the TERRA.vita Nature and Geopark, you can enjoy fresh air, relaxing silence, and picturesque views of the hilly landscape in the southern Osnabrück region here.

From Schledehausen, the route takes you through the Bissendorf districts of Wulften, Jeggen, Wissingen, and Linne. In Jeggen, a stop at an impressive megalithic tomb is worthwhile. Primitive giant trees now grow from the remarkably large burial chamber, making the oak-wooded place something very special.

To conclude the route, a visit to the spa garden of the spa town Schledehausen is recommended. Challenge yourself to a game of mini golf, boules, or giant chess, take a walk, or simply enjoy the tranquility of the spa park.
