Circular route Obersdorf

The hiking trail leads the hiker past the most interesting points of the Wilnsdorf district Obersdorf. The double-nave church, the Remmelchen, the old town centre of Obersdorf, the barbecue area with the newly built barbecue hut, the Celtic smelting furnace from the La Tène period, and last but not least the sports park are worthwhile destinations along this path.

The ant and forest educational trail is also a section of the circular path. The many informative signs attract attention to the rich flora and fauna around Obersdorf-Rödgen in an instructive way. The landscape is very varied, leading past meadows that are interrupted by large spruce or deciduous forests.

There are viewpoints that capture the whole village on the one hand, but also direct the view into the distance on the other hand, found repeatedly. Especially far-reaching is the view in front of the entrance area of the Protestant church nave. Kalteiche, Tiefenrother Höhe, Gernsbacher Höhe and Haincher Höhe are just some of the prominent points that can be seen from there.

Enjoy the approximately 2.5-hour hiking trail, which you can break up repeatedly to rest on one of the many benches of the Obersdorf-Rödgen local heritage association or at the barbecue hut.
