Start your trip northwards and cycle to Bad Muskau to the Muskau Park which is, together with the castle, part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

The tour from Görlitz to Bad Muskau takes you along the Neisse River through small villages to the UNESCO World Heritage (Muskau Park). During the tour it is possible to visit the easternmost place in Germany. Did you know that Görlitz, together with Oberstdorf, List and Selfkant, belongs to the so called "Zipfelbund"? If you stay overnight in Görlitz, you will receive one of a total of 4 stamps that are needed to receive beautiful gifts from the Zipfel communities.

The easternmost place in Germany is located before the village of Zentendorf, at the Neisse River. Past Zentendorf you will find another special feature, "Kulturinsel Einsiedel". The 7-hectare leisure park was founded in 1992. Cultural festivals and celebrations take place here, and it is possible to spend the night in a tree house. You can also stop in Rothenburg, where the"Luftfahrttechnisches Museum" (aviation museum) is located. You will find another museum almost before your destination: the Sagar "Handwerk- und Gewerbemuseum" (craft and trade museum).

You have the option of using the RB 65 train line from Weißwasser for the return journey to Görlitz.

Directions

Start your tour in Görlitz at the Obermarkt, where it is also possible to park. From Fleischerstraße cycle down the small hill to Hugo-Keller-Straße. Now cycle along the main street until you reach the Oder-Neisse cycle path. Follow the Oder-Neisse cycle path to Bad Muskau.

During the tour you will cycle through Ludwigsdorf, along the Neisse River and through Zodel. In Deschka, turn left and immediately right again and cycle along Zentendorfer Straße. Then continue cycling through Niederneundorf, Rothenburg, Noes, Lodenau, along the Neisse River to Ungunst and Steinbach, then through Klein-Priebus, Podrosche, Werdeck, Skerbersdorf, Sagar and Neustadt.

Drive to Rothenburg by car and from there cycle to Bad Muskau, this is about 40 kilometres.
