Dive into the source area of the Eder.

As a day route from Erndtebrück or Lützel, you travel over country roads and paths, through the forest to the Eder source and further with connection to the Eder cycle path.

You can reach this lasso route from Erndtebrück as well as from Lützel.

You travel over historic paths. In the past, the inhabitants used these for the transport of the iron industry and the associated coal mining. Today, the section of the Iron Road is one of the most distinctive roads in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district.

Along the coal road, old charcoal kiln sites can still be seen, which were used for charcoal production.

Experience the meandering river course and discover the unique river landscape of the Eder, which shapes the region.
