F3 local hiking trail "Feudingerhütte, Gottelsberg and Petersberg"

We start at the hiking board at the Volksbank in Feudingen. The path leads us via the streets -Im großen Hof- and -Zum Ilsetal- to the Feudingerhütte. Here, coming from Hüttenstraße, we turn onto the -Kölschen Weg-. It continues slightly uphill through the "Hütter Feld".

Especially on this part of the path, it is often worth looking back to enjoy the wide view over the first large widening of the Lahn valley with Feudingen in the valley basin. After a short steep climb through spruce forest, it continues uphill until we reach the Höhenweg, which takes us to the Großgemeindestein. Here, a small shelter and benches invite us to take a short break. A memorial stone commemorates the founding day of the Großgemeinde Stadt Bad Laasphe. Refreshed and strengthened, the path now goes slightly downhill through the Breitenbachtal, past the old forester's house, to the junction that leads us left back up to the Höhenweg. Over the so-called Windhuk, equipped with a “forest sofa,” it then follows the F3 marker through the Wahlbachtal down to the Lahn valley. Before the Lahn bridge, we turn left and walk past the Wahlbachsmühle and Osterrath company upstream along the Lahn. The path, also serving as a cycle path on this section, leads us further past Bermershausen, over the Feudingerhütte with the small Catholic-Apostolic Church, back to Feudingen.
