Wonderful panoramas are offered by a hike from Rathmannsdorf over Adamsberg to Goßdorf-Kohlmühle.

From Rathmannsdorf station, the route first leads up to probably the most futuristic observation tower in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains - the Rathmannsdorf Tower. Like the launch ramp of a moon rocket, the 15-meter-high structure, accessible by elevator or 81 steps, stands in the landscape. From the platform, there is a dreamlike view of the Hintere Sächsische Schweiz, the Elbe valley, and the Bastei. At the foot of the tower, a Kneipp basin with ice-cold water invites tired arms and legs to refresh.

The next stage destination is Wustmanndörfel, from where the panorama trail, true to its name, continues to Altendorf. From Adamsberg, the view stretches from the Affensteine to Königstein Fortress. On the last section of the hike, it goes steadily downhill to Goßdorf-Kohlmühle station and the impressive industrial monument of an abandoned linoleum factory.
