Děčín (German Tetschen) is a city in the Ústecký kraj on the Elbe river in the north of the Czech Republic, near the border with Saxony. The lowest city on the Elbe is the ideal place for relaxation and leisure. In the city directly adjacent to the Bohemian Switzerland National Park, you can undertake adventurous expeditions into the beautiful nature with many viewpoints, impressive rock formations, as well as visit the sights in the city. Děčín, divided by the Elbe, extends into the Tetschen Basin, along the Ploučnice river and the Jílovský potok stream, and also on the hills that surround the valley. The Tetschen Basin forms a transitional area from Bohemian Switzerland to the Bohemian Central Mountains.

Bad Schandau: The centrally located spa and Kneipp resort at the national park is one of the oldest holiday destinations in Saxon Switzerland. On our excursion, you will get to know both places and travel through them using public transportation.
