Kloo-Ascher route Bayrischzell

The trail into the Kloo-Aschertal is one of the cross-country highlights. It is one of the most snow-sure trails far and wide and is always well maintained - meaning cross-country skiing enjoyment often from November well into spring. The further you ski into the valley, the more romantic it becomes. At the valley end, a long and easy downhill to Hauswies rewards you for the effort of the ascent. 

If the trail from the Stocker car park has not yet been groomed, starting at the Zipflwirt is recommended. The route is easily manageable with a cross-country sled, with the start at Zipflwirt being simpler as it avoids the underpass of the Tiroler Straße. The next barrier-free restroom is located at the Sportalm Bayrischzell.

The trail is suitable for both skaters and classic cross-country skiers.
