A relaxed route that leads either from the Elbe cycle path in Kleinzadel, a few kilometers north of Meißen, to Moritzburg, but can also be ridden in the opposite direction.
The route starts in Kleinzadel and heads east along small roads, which always offer views of the adjacent fields to the right and left. A short detour for a culinary break, including a tasting of Saxon wine, can be made at the weekend at Bella Vista in the Winzerhof Golk (Herrenberg winery).
Afterwards, country lanes allow you to continue via Naundörfel and Ockrilla, past the Oberau tunnel monument. It is also worth making a stop in the park at the Oberau moated castle. For refreshment in summer, take a dip in the cool waters of the Oberau forest pool. The cycle tour is also exciting for children: at the next stop, Buschmühle, you can not only stop for refreshments, but also take a boat trip on the idyllic gondola pond around a pirate ship (from Easter to 1st Advent).
It stays cool as you continue through the scenic Friedewald forest, which offers tranquil paths in the direction of Moritzburg. Once there, the sights beckon for further discoveries - the famous baroque palace and the Käthe Kollwitz House are recommended for further stops before the tour ends in the center of Moritzburg.

Directions
The route starts in Kleinzadel on the Elbe cycle path and leads east through the village and on and on across the Wiesengrund. Cross the S 88 and continue along the "Neumühle" path towards the vineyards in Golk. Shortly before these, turn right into "Am Gosebach". Keep right at Mühlweg and then immediately turn left again and follow the Nieschützbach.
In Naundörfel, the route briefly turns left ("Zum Gosetal") and then right again after leaving the village to Ockrilla. Cross the B 101 here and continue along "Neue Gröbener Straße" following the signs to Oberau. The Obere Buschmühlenweg leads past the mill, turn left here for refreshments. Then turn left into the forest road and pass the Oberau forest swimming pool. Continue along the path (O-Weg and X-Weg) and turn left at the Jungfernbrücke bridge (F-Weg) to the parking lot on the S 81. Cross the road and continue along the HW-Weg and Steinernen Weg to the parking lot at the castle pond in Moritzburg. Turn right onto Kalkreuther Straße and then left onto Meißener Straße towards the town center. You will reach the end of the tour at the parking lot on Schlossallee.
