Mountain bike route to the Neunzehnhain reservoir

From the Lauterbacher Spirits – main house, we ride along Lengenfelder Street through the town to Kalkwerk Lengefeld, past the lime works we turn right after 165m onto the S226. On the right side is the Hotel Waldesruh for a culinary break. 315 m to the left on the S226, then right through the Bornwald to the dam wall of the Neunzehnhain I reservoir. Here we turn left off the road towards Wünschendorf. After a challenging ascent, arriving in the village, we keep left. After 90m, turn right towards Stolzenhain. At the rest area, turn left, enter the settlement where you can view the Börnichen church and take a break. Then we ride on the Försterweg towards Neunzehnhain II reservoir, continue to the B101. Caution crossing! After 1080m, turn left towards Lauterbach. We ride 400m through the village, arriving again on the right side at the starting point, where you can stop at the Ernst F. Ullmann distillation & liqueur factory and buy spirits.
