A popular themed walk for all culture-interested visitors to Bad Laasphe – or those who want to become one...

Funded by the NRW state competition "Ab in die Mitte", nationally and internationally renowned artists were invited in 2000 and 2012 to two sculpture symposia, whose works are connected with the already existing sculptures and the historic townscape.

The artworks created from metal, wood, stone or brick have meanwhile become an attraction for all art-interested visitors to Bad Laasphe and can be viewed as part of a "sculpture walk" lasting about 2 hours.

1 - Johannes Löffelmann (Kneipp columns)

2- Ludger Krause-Sparmann and Jan-Willem Beeren (mushroom forest)

3- Wolfgang Kreutter (bronze sculpture)

4- Johannes Dröge (sandstone sculpture)

5- Franz Stähler (destroyed by vandalism / bronze plaque)

6- Michael Le Grand (suggested heart)

7- Hamish Horsley (slate/greywacke)

8- Prof. Helmut Schepp (bronze sculpture)

9- Tae Mori (filigree wheels)

10- Thomas Vinson (river walk)

All interested visitors can pick up a German- or English-language flyer at the tourist info in the Haus des Gastes with descriptions of the artworks as well as the sketched map.
