The Mummelsee-Hornisgrinde path combines numerous highlights on a charming, partly demanding route. Besides magnificent Black Forest views, the Grinden path and the plank path through the raised bog, the legendary Mummelsee is a particularly outstanding highlight. Additionally, the Hornisgrinde viewing tower, the smaller Bismarck tower, and the Dreifürstenstein offer further attractions. There are 3 nice stops for regional specialties.

From Seibelseckle, the pleasure route leads under the viaduct of the Schwarzwaldhochstraße and through the Lenderswald, past sky loungers with views towards Seebach and into the Rhine Valley, and finally uphill to the legendary Mummelsee with its beautiful mountain hotel. After circling the lake and a chance to stop for a meal or rest on the shore, it continues over Katzenkopf and magnificent views uphill to the Hornisgrinde. At the top, the Grinde hut invites you to stop or the observation towers to climb. A special feature awaits the hiker with the plank path over the protected raised bog and views into the Biberkessel and seemingly untouched wide forest landscapes. After passing the Dreifürstenstein (magnificent buntsandstein slab on which in 1722 the borders between the Margraviate of Baden, the Duchy of Württemberg, and the Prince-Bishopric of Strasbourg were defined), a narrow, steep path leads back to Seibelseckle with a chance to stop.
