Leisurely tour where you can also learn something about the animals and plants found here.

At the beginning, the tour follows the Alte Tetschner Straße to a wooden owl. This marks the entrance to the nature trail.  The plants and animals that live here are presented on display boards. The route leads up to the Schleifersberg. From there you have a wonderful view of the highest mountain in Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland, the Hoher Schneeberg. The Arnoldbank is a great picnic spot. A few steps further on, you can visit an insect hotel. The nature trail continues to the ponds. There is also a wonderful place to take a break, a covered rest area and several information boards for those who don't like to sit for too long. In summer, pretty water lilies bloom. Shortly after the ponds, the route turns off the nature trail and continues to the right on the pond path and then again to the right into the village and back to the starting point of the tour.

The tour starts at a beautifully carved wooden spotted woodpecker. This marks the start of the nature trail, and a section of the "Robie's Weg" trail initiated by the local kindergarten also runs along the route, so that red-painted path stones repeatedly line the path. The 40 or so boards along the way provide lots of interesting information about flora, fauna and forestry. In this way, adults can learn about the tasks of nature conservation together with their children, sometimes in a playful way. The route first leads up to the Schleifersberg, the only incline on the route. From there you have a wonderful view of the highest mountain in Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland, the Hoher Schneeberg. In good weather, you can also see far into Bohemia. The Arnoldbank is also a great picnic spot and invites you to linger. After the viewpoint, the trail descends. After a short while, you can visit a large insect hotel - especially in spring, it is a hive of activity and makes you want to stay longer. The nature trail then continues to the ponds. There is also a wonderful place to take a break, a covered rest area and several information boards for those who don't want to sit for too long. In summer, pretty water lilies bloom and in spring, with a bit of luck, you can watch the numerous grass snakes swimming and hunting. Shortly after the ponds, the route turns off the nature trail and continues to the right along the pond path, past a beautiful orchard and a rest area with a water feature where children can have fun. The trail then leads back to the starting point along a country road with little traffic and lined with old fruit trees. A veritable sea of flowers, especially in spring.
