On the Urnerboden, the largest and most beautiful alp in Switzerland, up to 1200 cows are summered. Nostalgia, rustic ambiance, and the enjoyment of local products like alpine cheese are definitely guaranteed!

After a short stretch on the Klausen Pass road, turn off onto the natural road leading to Alp Wängi. The incline is steady and pleasant, taking you along lush alpine pastures over Alp Orthalten to Fisetenpass – at 2036 m the highest point of the route and an ideal resting place. Enjoy the unsurpassable panorama over Urnerboden, the Klausen Pass, the Clariden Glacier, and the Glarus Alps before tackling the enjoyable descent over Alp Gemsfairenhüttli.
The next section includes another climb: up to the Klausen Pass at 1948 m. The view here also makes any biker's heart beat faster, and the restaurant offers refreshments in the purest alpine air. Then continue downhill on the historic Klausen Pass road. Below the Chlus, the route leads along the historic Klausen road, which winds through narrow hairpin bends through the gorge to Jägerbalm. The last stretch along the cooling Fätschbach takes you on an attractive singletrail back to the starting point at the Port.
