This relatively easy tour leads to the Am Viehbigt viewpoint near Reinhardtsdorf. Here you have a beautiful view of the extensive rocky reef of the Schrammsteine and the free-standing summit of the Falkenstein. If you only take the detour to the panoramic view without the subsequent tour of the village, there are no long climbs or major differences in altitude to contend with. The ground is usually easy to roll on.

Directions
From the parking lot near the tourist information office, the path first leads back to the main road. A few meters later, turn right onto the "Schrammsteinblick" road. After passing several farm buildings (these are located to the right of the road and can be recognized by their smell), the trail turns right again onto a concrete slab path.
At an old road barrier (caution: short steep section!), this turns into a dirt track with a heavily weathered bitumen surface. It is important here not to turn off too early, otherwise you will end up on the grounds of the agricultural cooperative. After 600 m (from the start: 1.8 km), you reach the Burchenbüchel vantage point with a wonderful rest area on a partly slightly gravelly track.
From here, you can either return along the same route or extend the tour by a circular route of around 3.3 km. This route initially runs along the edge of the village - first along a road, then along a field path signposted as the Caspar-David-Friedrich-Weg - to the crossroads in front of a horse farm. There, the signs indicate the direction, turning left back into the village. The last 20 m to the road are very steep, which is why assistance from accompanying persons without limited mobility is recommended.
After this most challenging part of the hike, the route mostly follows asphalt side roads - first to the left, then to the right of the main road - back to the starting point. Several variations are possible here, with the path climbing steadily after reaching the main road.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
In principle, the excursion is suitable in any weather, as long as the landscape is not buried several meters deep in snow. On a sunny, warm spring day or in early fall, however, it is probably the most beautiful here. It is astonishing that this tour destination with its spectacular panorama is not yet so well known and that there are therefore few people here.
