A well-maintained and perfectly signposted network of trails, excellent service, and the proverbial Vogtland hospitality guarantee stress-free recreational fun.
The wonderfully located, officially recognized recreational area Beerheide – Schnarrtanne is among the snowiest regions in Saxony. Nearly thirty kilometers of ski trails with varying levels of difficulty are available. The expertly prepared ski slopes make the hearts of winter sports enthusiasts beat faster.
The special feature: Since 2008, the Auerbach trails have held a certificate – the seal of quality from the German Ski Association. In the Grünheide Forest Park, between Beerheide and Schnarrtanne, there is the location of a DSV Nordic-Active-Center.
For après-ski, there are dining options around the trail network for big and small connoisseurs. Why not try "snowshoeing" as well!
