Lights up for THE EYES OF THE CASTLE! In this exhibition, no walls are adorned and the space remains empty – everything takes place at the windows: Katrin Bethge's projection runs over the windows, amplified by the reflection of mirrors and Plexiglas panels. Franziska Nast covers two of the castle windows with oversized eyelashes and complements them with a sound installation that makes the sound of a blink audible. Leni Pohl explores visibility and invisibility in her installation made of paper, drawing, and spatial bodies. Finally, Verena Schöttmer connects fairytale motifs on textile shutters. Windows, eyes, and gazes – just like castles themselves – play a central role in fairy tales. Lights up for the windows of the castle!
