Die Augen des Schlosses
THE EYES OF THE CASTLE transforms the windows of Castle Agahtenburg into projection surfaces of new perception.
Franziska Nast transforms two windows into eyes with oversized eyelashes and complements them with a sound installation where even the blink of an eye becomes audible. Leni Pohl explores visibility and invisibility in installations made of paper, drawing, and spatial bodies. Verena Schöttmer finally connects fairy tale motifs with textile shutters.
Windows, eyes, and gazes - as well as castles themselves play a central role in fairy tales. In this exhibition, all these levels come together.
