STAND DER DINGE. SWAANTJE GÜNTZEL

The exhibition STAND DER DINGE. SWAANTJE GÜNTZEL at Schloss Agathenburg brings together central bodies of work by the Hamburg conceptual artist into a multifaceted narrative about the destruction of habitats, digital images of nature, responsibility, and resilience. For the first time, the artist also opens a personal perspective: experiences with public rejection and threats flow into the exhibition and raise questions about the conditions of artistic work in times of crisis. This creates a resonance space in which ecological, media-related, and personal narratives intertwine and Schloss Agathenburg becomes a place where art carries global themes into the rural area.
