Vogelkundliche Führung "Die Rast- und Wintervögel am Alfsee"

Excursion

The resting and winter birds at Lake Alfsee

The Haseniederung Biological Station is offering an ornithological tour of Lake Alfsee as part of the area management program funded by the state of Lower Saxony. During the event, Hendrik Hemmes will provide information about the importance of the Alfsee area and the Haseniederung for the bird species that rest in this region, as well as their ecological requirements for the resting area.
Since some species have already begun their migration home, we can also expect to see birds that have spent the winter in the south and are now stopping off at Lake Alfsee on their way to their breeding grounds.

If you don't have binoculars, you can borrow some from Hendrik for the tour.

Families with children are also very welcome on the tour!

No registration required.

Costs: Participation is free of charge, donations are welcome!
