Gasthaus & Gosebrauerei "Bayerischer Bahnhof" & Wilhelm Horn branded spirits
Since 1842, the Bayerischer Bahnhof has been a defining feature of Leipzig’s history, and today it uniquely combines tradition with contemporary enjoyment. Following its renovation in 2000, the historic building now serves as a restaurant, microbrewery, and event venue with a special atmosphere. Individually designed dining rooms and a spacious beer garden provide the perfect setting for enjoyable evenings and a variety of occasions.
The kitchen specializes in traditional, hearty, and varied dishes with seasonal touches. Another highlight is the state-of-the-art microbrewery, where the top-fermented Leipziger Gose is brewed. In addition to this lightly sparkling specialty, other house-brewed beers are produced, such as the “Schaffner” Pils, the “Kuppler” wheat beer, and the robust “Heizer” Schwarzbier, as well as regularly rotating seasonal beers. The naturally cloudy beers are brewed with high-quality malts and regional hops and enjoyed right on the premises. The Wilhelm Horn brand of spirits complements this artisanal tradition with exquisite distillates.
