- Good to know
Built in 1767 on the foundations of the former Isenhagen monastery, the house has been in the family for four generations and is run by the Jens Olvermann family. Traditionally, however, hospitality has existed at this location for over 650 years, as two important military roads crossed here. Even today, this intersection in Hankensbüttel is known as the "wet triangle".When selecting his dishes and compiling the menu, Jens Olvermann places great importance on regional products and specialties such as roast Heidschnucken and game dishes. Many typical dishes from the region are prepared according to traditional recipes with a modern twist.
