Geestsee

Directly opposite the reception of the Geesthof vacation park in Hechthausen-Klint is the beautiful Geestsee swimming and fishing lake. You can build sandcastles on the fine sandy beach, read a good book while sunbathing or cool off in the refreshing water.
You can explore the underwater world while snorkeling and diving.
In a separate bathing area, you can enjoy your bathing fun with your four-legged friend.
Anglers' hearts also beat faster here. During the season, trout are regularly released into the large lake.

Please note: Swimming in all areas is at your own risk! Swimming in the neighboring Oste River is also not recommended due to the strong current!
