LOFFT - THE THEATER
LOFFT - DAS THEATER is a nationally and internationally recognized production and performance venue for independent performing arts in Leipzig. Drama, dance and performances are produced and presented here. As a production house, LOFFT provides the stage for the latest artistic projects and cooperates with numerous artists, theaters and festivals in Leipzig, Germany and throughout Europe.
In March 2019, LOFFT - DAS THEATER opened its new venue on the Spinnerei site in Leipzig. After spectacular renovations, a theater has been created on the famous Spinnerei site that not only shines visually, but also offers plenty of space. Around 200 guests can fit into the premises, which have already captivated many with their loft-like character and high-quality theater stages.
A fascinating program with artists from all over the world makes Leipzig a magnet for contemporary art. In addition to great entertainment, the Leipzig Theaterhaus LOFFT also focuses on controversial social issues and also offers a barrier-free space for art and its audience, high above the rooftops of the Pleiße metropolis.

The box office opens 45 minutes before the performance begins. Please collect reserved tickets up to 30 minutes before the start of the performance.

- Access to the theater is from Saarländer Strasse/corner of Spinnereistraße.
- Parking spaces are located directly in front of the hall in the inner courtyard.
- Alternative entrance for wheelchair users via a slope to the elevator: door 130 cm, area 130x275 cm
- Large and small auditorium as well as wheelchair accessible WC (with EURO key) are located on the 3rd floor.
- An additional wheelchair-accessible WC is located on the 2nd floor.
- Guide dogs and guide dogs for the blind are permitted.
- Mobile induction loop for hearing aid users.

Directions & Parking facilities
By car: Lofft - The theater is located in the western part of Leipzig in Neulindenau and can be reached via Lützner Straße and Saalfelder Straße or via Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße and Karl-Heine Straße. There are parking spaces on the spinning mill grounds.
