Church
Beautiful Romanesque church with valuable ceiling paintings.
Anyone entering the interior of St. Andrew's Church, the oldest part of which dates back to the 13th century, will be fascinated by the frescoes on the vaults. The frescoes in the chancel from the 14th century impress with their colorful and compositional design. Scenes from the story of paradise can be found here as well as images of heaven and hell. Christ the Judge of the World sits in the middle and decides who is to enter the Heavenly Jerusalem and who is to be consigned to the fires of hell. Devils and angels can be seen escorting the blessed into the Eternal City or, on the other side, transporting kings, princes and criminals into the pit of hell.

In addition to the frescoes, the baptismal font (13th century), crucifix and the colorful pulpit from 1647 are the outstanding pieces of the Rieder brick church. The pulpit is built on a hexagonal ground plan. This consists of coffered individual bays with protruding corner pillars. The pulpit basket is closed at the bottom by veiling and rests on a wooden pillar. It depicts the four evangelists and the coat of arms of the Langen Parcow family in the central field.
