St. Jodokus Church in Göschitz

Church
Göschitz must have been elevated to a parish before 1333.
It received an indulgence from an archbishop together with its daughter church in Rödersdorf in 1340 and Bishop Witiko I of Naumburg confirmed this in 1341. The fact that the parish church acted as a church is not least proven by the addition of a chapel dedicated to St Bartholomew (before 1492). Numerous modifications, which were introduced after its destruction in the Thirty Years’ War, have completely changed the old choir tower church.
