Rewarding route with numerous highlights between Bavaria and Tirol

The Sonnwendjoch is a prominent mountain on the border region between Bavaria (Germany) and Tirol (Austria). Circumventing it is brilliant for many reasons: on one hand, wonderful alpine pastures with their lush meadows, on the other hand views that remain unforgettable, and last but not least a real challenge for every mountain biker who values endurance and strength.

One of the few cross-border routes in the Tegernsee-Schliersee Alpine region.

Attention: very short bike-pushing section (150m).
