The start of the circular route is at the Tourist Information on Lindenstraße. In Bad Essen-Hüsede you can take a detour to the Backhaus, where baking takes place in a stone oven on special dates. Through the idyllic Glanetal you then come to the 150 million-year-old dinosaur footprints in Bad Essen-Barkhausen. Two life-size concrete dinosaurs await you near the impressive steep wall. In the second part of the route you pass by Burg Wittlage, the former administrative seat.
