Beerheide Circular Route - very beautiful hike around Beerheide

On this approximately 7 km long hike you will experience pure nature but also the officially recognized recreational resort Beerheide in Vogtland. Your hike begins at the Beerheide Cultural Center. It leads you over Hohengrün along the garden area to "Fichtzig" where you cross Rempesgrüner Street towards Lohetal. Over Loheweg past Röthelstein into the valley of the Red Göltzsch downstream to the Beerheide waterworks. Across the Street of Peace you reach the village Beerheide, where you can enjoy the wonderful view at "Göltzschtalblick".

Cultural Center – Settlement – Viewpoint with orientation stone – Hiking rest area "Göltzschtalblick" – Hohengrün – along the garden area to Fichtzig – Crossing Rempesgrüner Street towards Lohetal – via Loheweg to Street of Peace – via Röthelsteinweg to Röthelstein – Staircase down to the valley of the Red Göltzsch – upstream on the Rißweg II, after the Beerheide waterworks turn left towards the village to Street of Peace (hiking rest area) – via Birkenweg straight on Upper Street to Rempesgrüner Street – Cultural Center

Beerheide is located in the southwest of the Free State of Saxony. The nearest larger towns in the area are Plauen, Zwickau, and Reichenbach. Beerheide can be conveniently reached via the A72 motorway. Motorway exit: A72 Treuen exit towards Treuen and from there continue on B169 towards Auerbach, then on S300 towards Klingenthal; or motorway exit: A72 Plauen East exit onto B173 towards Falkenstein and then on B169 to Auerbach, followed by S300 towards Klingenthal
