This relaxed circular tour connects some of Oberhausen's most exciting attractions – from modern leisure facilities and impressive industrial backdrops to tranquil nature trails. The tour starts at the Neue Mitte with the first two highlights: first the Westfield Centro and then the Oberhausen Gasometer. A short detour to the Rhine-Herne Canal offers sweeping views of the water before continuing along the Emscher Way and the former HOAG railway line through peaceful, green surroundings.

In the northern part of the tour is the Holten pumping station – a great vantage point and a sign of the Emscher's transformation in the middle of greenery. From here, the route leads through green expanses, quiet residential areas and finally back to Westfield Centro via OLGA Park with its striking landscape architecture.
