Charming circular hike to the Reschbachklause and Siebensteinkopf

On the circular route ‘Sperlingskauz’ (Pygmy owl), we hike along the historic Schwellgraben to the Reschbachklause. Both structures are part of the historic timber transport facilities. The landscape around the Reschbachklause has a scandinavian character. A shelter and a seating area invite you to take a break. From the Reschbachklause, we ascend along the German-Czech border to the Siebensteinkopf (1,263 meters), from where we can enjoy views into the Šumava National Park and, on clear days, even as far as the Alps. The descent follows old stone-built footpaths skillfully crafted from fieldstones.
