Circular trail ‘Birkhuhn’ (Black grouse) - Through Finsterauer Filz to Alte Klause

This circular trail offers a glimpse of the wild forest in the National Park, showcasing its various facets, from dense old-growth forests to areas affected by bark beetles and windthrow, as well as dense young growth. Starting from Wistlberg, the trail leads to the restored Finsterauer Filz raised bog, then continues to Alte Klause before returning.
