Explorer Path Biodiversity

On the low-barrier biodiversity explorer path in Germany's largest contiguous coastal forest, you will learn about the small and large natural wonders of the local forests.

In the Rostock Heath, you will encounter daydreamers and night owls, hunger artists and pioneers of nature. Playfully learn more about plump fruits, flushing fringes and forest medicine. The 2.8 km circular trail with 10 stations starts at the Forst- und Köhlerhof. There is even an extension of the trail for sporty explorers. The 8 km cycle path to the Baltic Sea has a further 5 stations.
