Directions

The route starts at Eilenburg East station and initially leads along Hartmannstraße through the Eilenburg industrial area. At the northeast industrial area, turn left onto the Mulde cycle path and follow the route towards Mensdorf and Mörtitz. At the end of the village of Mörtitz, keep left and follow the route to Gruna. At the Gruna Wendenturm turn left, pass the ferry house, and cross the Mulde. On the opposite Mulde bank, the path continues to the right, past Hohenprießnitz, to Ober-Glaucha and Nieder-Glaucha. The route then briefly follows a section of the federal highway before turning right towards Bad Düben. Those wishing to make a detour to Bad Düben can cross the Mulde bridge here and reach the beautiful spa town with the well-known post mill.
