A beautiful hike to one of the most distinctive peaks in the region.

The classic path to the Hirschberg first runs over forest roads, later also over smaller paths and trails. The Hirschberghaus offers an opportunity to stop for refreshments; the return route in this variant follows a different path than the ascent.

The descent via Rauheckalm is not possible in winter because the path leads directly over the ski slope at the Hirschberglift.
