Gindelalm - Neureuth via Gasse (Route No. 36 from the "RadlTraum Süd")

One of the most popular routes between Schliersee and Tegernsee. Scenic, challenging, and with many places to stop. The start is perfect for warming up, from the climb to the Gindelalmen it gets tough, but you're rewarded with a great view.

You can enjoy a well-deserved Kaiserschmarrn either at the Gindelalmen with views into the Schlierach valley or from Neureuth with views into the Tegernsee valley. Wherever you choose, on a good day it’s an absolute treat.

The descent makes it clear this route is for everyone; the experienced can challenge themselves on the steep forest road, while the more leisurely can return via the normal path back to Gasse / car park.
