The Prinzenweg between Schliersee and Tegernsee is the classic car-free connection. It goes up and down, with beautiful views and opportunities to stop for refreshments. But starting at the beginning: you can get a nice warm-up over Wallenburger Kogel. It goes steadily uphill but not too steep. Arriving in Ostin, it goes down to Tegernsee. There you can enjoy a cooldown, for example. Then continue along the Prinzenweg. Also, arriving in Schliersee, you can take a dip in the lake — so don’t forget your swimwear!
