Alm tour (Route no. 22a from "RadlTraum Süd")

The shortened variant of route number 22 (Erzherzog-Johann route). A nice half-day route for professionals as well as physically strong, powerful riders. At Valepp you turn right towards Enterrottach, thereby saving the extra kilometers to Klause and via Kreuth. However, it remains a demanding route due to the climbs to Spitzingsee and then from Enterrottach to Kühzagl Pass. Both are steep and quite long. But you are rewarded with a superb mountain panorama. In the middle of an alpine terrain at Spitzingsee, with views to the “High Mountains” in neighboring Tyrol.

Places to stop are available, such as in Fischhausen-Neuhaus, Schliersee, Enterrottach, Moni Alm, and many more.
