Hauswalde can be reached via the A4, Ohorn junction. Then follow the road southwards towards Bretnig and upon arriving in Bretnig, follow Bischofswerdaer Street, which leads into Hauptstraße. At the intersection of Hauptstraße / Ohorner Straße, turn left and you will see the church.
The hiking trail is easily accessible by public transport via a Plusbus line between Dresden and Bischofswerda. Get off at the "Bäckerei Hauswalde" stop and follow the street briefly eastward until it bends to the right. At the junction, turn north into Ohorner Street and you will immediately see the church and thus the hiking trail. Please refer to the ZVON website for exact departure times.
