Hiking route 'Siebenstern' (Arctic starflower) (Frauenau - Waldschmidthaus)

The 'Siebenstern' (Arctic starflower) hiking trail starts in the centre of Frauenau. Passing through Oberfrauenau, the trail leads to the Trinkwassertalsperre (drinking water reservoir), where you walk along its shore. Afterwards, you hike uphill through pristine national park forests, with some sections being very steep and rocky. After the challenging ascent, you arrive at Rachelwiese, and from there, it's not far to reach Waldschmidthaus, located just below Großer Rachel.
