The circular hiking trail around the Freital district of Kleinnaundorf is laid out in the shape of a figure eight. The starting point, route length, direction, and stopping points can thus be chosen individually.

The circuit connects the sights of the Freital district on one route and forms a link between the forests of the Windberg area and the Kaitzbach valley. The route, laid out by the local heritage association, is marked with a „green fir tree“ taken from the Kleinnaundorf coat of arms. The recommended starting point is the bus turning area at Meßweg in Kleinnaundorf. This is easily accessible by bus lines C and 366. The attractions include the former embankment of the Saxon Semmering Railway with numerous arched bridges and the Kleinnaundorf station building as well as the miner's grave at the Gottes-Segen shaft, which commemorates the worst mining disaster in Saxony in 1869.
