The KoRoLa cycle route takes cyclists from the pottery town of Kohren-Sahlis via Geithain to Rochlitz, the town of red porphyry, and back to Kohren-Sahlis.

In addition to the varied landscape, the route also boasts architectural highlights such as Rochlitz Castle. Due to some challenging sections, the cycle route is particularly suitable for experienced cyclists.

The KoRoLa cycle route leads from the pottery town of Kohren-Sahlis and on via Geithain to Rochlitz. From there, the route leads back to Terpitz and Kohren-Sahlis via small villages.

Tip: Cycle via Rudigsdorf to Gnandstein and visit Gnandstein Castle. There you can also connect to the Altenburg-Colditz cycle route.

In Rochlitz there is a connection to the Mulde cycle path along the Zwickauer Mulde to the Mulde confluence in Sermuth.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author

Cycle via Rudigsdorf to Gnandstein and visit Gnandstein Castle. There you can also connect to the Altenburg-Colditz cycle route.

In Kohren-Sahlis, the pottery fountain is well worth a visit. In Geithain, the zoo and the underground passages in Geithain are well worth a visit. Rochlitz Castle is also worth a visit.
