L4 - Local hiking trail Bad Laasphe "Laasphetal and Butzeberg"

Beautiful circular route along the course of the small stream "Laasphe." While initially accompanied by the pleasant constant babbling, the path later winds idyllically over the Neesbachtal up to the Butzeberg. From here it partially follows the Myth and Legend Trail, which is signposted and tells stories of old Wittgenstein myths. The mystical natural monument Devil's Pulpit is also passed. 

The path alternates between gnarled old deciduous forests, which provide natural shade, and reforested sections that offer sunny wide views of the Wittgenstein mountain landscape.

The path is also our recommendation for four-legged friends: well suited for hikes with dogs, as extensive bathing opportunities open up for the dog (and its human companion) at the beginning of the tour in the Laasphe!

On the return, a stop at the mountain hut Zur Teufelskanzel is recommended - here energy reserves can be replenished in a great atmosphere on Thursday/Friday from 4 p.m. and on weekends from 11 a.m.!

If you need to cool down at the end of the hike, you can do a round through our Kneipp facility in the adjacent city garden. Kneipping in the dipping and arm basins offers wonderfully healing stimuli and refreshment at the same time (unfortunately only allowed for humans here!)
