The mushroom man "Maroni" takes young and old into his diverse world of mushrooms at 13 different stations. From mycelium to mushroom hats, from mythology and legends to athlete's foot or radioactivity, young and old can learn a lot of interesting facts about mushrooms from the mushroom man "Maroni" and actively try them out. Starting at the hikers' car park at the entrance to Gräfenwarth with a mushroom mycelium made of ropes, you can trace the life of mushrooms. Multi-dimensional mushroom hats, mushroom stems and mushroom spores made of wood bring the variety of shapes of mushrooms close at the various stations. In the "fairy tale room" you can learn about the mythology and legends of mushrooms. Fairy tales written especially for the adventure trail deal with how mushrooms got their appearance. The functions of mushrooms in the ecosystem or topics such as athlete's foot, mould or radioactivity are also vividly demonstrated. And quite incidentally, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Saale.
