Oderwitz is located at the foot of the 510m high Spitzberg. From there, you have a wonderful view of the 3 very well-preserved post mills and a still functional water mill. You can admire part of the approximately 450 well-preserved half-timbered houses in the town along the Umgebindehausstraße along the Landwasser. The path leads you on an asphalt road from Niederoderwitz to Oberoderwitz.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
Optionally, the route can be extended along the Landwasser and the beautiful half-timbered houses in the direction of Niederoderwitz and Oberoderwitz.
A detour to the very nicely located public bath, 3 riding stables, or the summer toboggan run on Spitzberg is also worthwhile.
